The “333 Rule”
G
uy Kawasaki likes to advocate his 10/20/30 rule for pitching and giving presentations. For those of you not familiar with the formula, it means the following: 10 slides, 20 minutes, and 30 point font. It's a great rule to follow for any presentation, particularly with sales pitching.

Here's another great presentation rule. A presentation rebel knows how to adequately prepare for a presentation. He or she lives and dies by something I like to call the “333 Rule.” This concept is simple and is the hallmark of a captivating and memorable presentation.
3 goals: Every presentation should build trust, win people, and deliver results.
3 stages: Every presentation has a strong beginning, middle, and end. In other words, it has a powerful introduction, body, and conclusion.
3 points: Before you pick-up a writing utensil to start your presentation outline, define the three takeaways you want to leave with your audience. Three points. No more, no less.
333. Simple, isn’t it?

I work for Guy Kawasaki. Thanks for your comment about Guy's posting on The 10/20/30 Rule of PowerPoint as well as the link to his blog. Btw, I like your 333 Rule!
